Artist statement for this quilt: "There are not a lot of "either/or" issues in life, I've discovered. There are many "both/ands." Especially when we wander into fields of religion and theology the terrain becomes increasingly murky. Whatever someone's faith, this seems obvious: We cannot call God our Father and simultaneously deny that we are brothers and sisters."
