The final quilt in the series is this series is bordered in hand dyed fabric. The colors include black, green, and deep salmon. The center section is Mary's own mono-printed fabric in shades of green, salmon, and rust. It is embellished with beads, ribbons and fibers of sky blue. Mary has created this quilt as the final one in the series entitled In My Own Mind. The quilt measures 28 inches wide and 36 inches high. There is a sleeve attached to the back for easy hanging. The artist statement reads as follows: "In my own mind I am watching the neighbor's child consider the mud puddle. She's four. She studies the puddle left from her father's lawn watering, tugs at her bright pink sundress, thinks so hard her tongue comes out. At last she decides: she'll pick dandelions instead."
